I specifically choose the smapi route because I knew it would be fine
with 64bit.  There was simply a bug in jamnntpd's use of it such that
it wasn't closing the base after posting a message.  If the process
crashed it would corrupt the msgbase.

Does OS/2 support IPV6?  I wondered if the changes I made for it would
compile there though I am skeptical.
