What happened to the old Thinkpads?

"unix-like" seems to be a strange reason to justify MacBooks.

But I am sure you will grow to like your new laptop.

Ah..  ok scratch the "I am sure.." above.  I played around with a
MacBook Pro a few months ago, and the keyboard wasn't "bad".  I
felt that I could adapt to it.  But I find that my T40p Thinkpad keyboard
is the tops of many other laptop brands I've had my hands on.
