The program also has a "drive to drive" option (the KW> > it RAW mode) which purports be a clone-like function. KW>Thanks for the pointer! I used DriveImage a LONG time ago, and it worked as KW>advertised. Hook the new drive up as master, the old as slave, then run Driv KW>Image. Once you're happy with it, reformat the old drive to be a backup driv KW>They've stopped calling them Master/Slave and use the more politically corre KW>Primary/Secondary now. That's how long ago this worked. :) OOrigionaly Power Quest had Two seperatw programs. Drive Image was the quigional Image program as I recall and Drive copy was theri "Cloning" program. As I recall that was maintained up until Norton bought the program name I still have a very early copy of PQ's Drive image along with a copy of Drive Image 4 and Drive Image 2002. I naver bothered with anything after Norton took them over. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
