Sorry, but you are on the wrong path. It's irritating to find that Adam is
correct, but he is.

Energy can be released from various sources. A big rock falling out of the
sky converts kinetic energy into a bang. Similar bangs come from the
chemical reaction in a conventional explosion, or an over-heated boiler.

Newton could have explained all of the above. But Newton would have been
totally baffled by a nuclear explosion because the amount of energy
released cannot be explained by the science known before the theory of
e=mc2.
