JAM is a message base storage format developed by the creators of
RemoteAccess and FrontDoor... RA is a BBS package and FD is a FTN mailer
package... many sysop readers interface directly with JAMbases... TimED,
GoldED, FD's FM just to name a few... you cannot use an offline mail reader
with it... well, possibly multimail but i'm not sure about that...
definitely not any BW or QWK dedicated readers
