RP>One of the things that's fun to see going on is the way the media types
RP>now very publicly parse every word he says, pointing out how his
RP>statements can mean other than what they sound like, something we here
RP>have long known about the Slickster. Drawing from the Jennifer Flowers
RP>denial and now the admission of that affair, one pundit this morning
RP>extended that sort of thing across everything this administration has
RP>done from the beginning saying that what they do is say, hey, we didn't
RP>rob no bank, that charge is absolutely false (it was a savings and
RP>loan).

Or by using a double negative, they would argue...he was telling
us he really did. What has amazed me since Clinton's first campaign
for the presidency is the absolute blindness of Clinton loyalists. I'm
not talking about the paid hack men like Cavalelli who are compensated
for their commitment to Clinton, but average people in the street who,
no matter what Clinton does, blame it on partisan politics.
If asked about his admission he was lying about the Flowers
affair, totally ignoring his challanges to the integrity of a woman
that apparently gave him 12 years of her life, they say,"This is just
people out to get Clinton". How on Earth can people with a grudge for
Clinton have anythingt o do with that?
Hey folks, Clinton opponents didn't pull his pants down and hold
these women's heads, get it straight. He's a liar, he's commited
purgery, suborned other's to commit purjury, and obstructed justice.
He's a womanizer, on the borderline of being a pedophile, and has used
the office of the President of the United States of America to commit
acts that debase that very office.
I can see the plaques on the walls of that office in the future.
Along with a plaque stating "Here Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves",
and "Here, Roosevelt called our nation to arms", there sill someday be
a plaque reading, "Here, Clinton got a blowjob".
Clinton has effectively elevated the highest office of the land
to the stamina of an Arkansas truck stop restroom.
RP>The conspiracy was Dufus' doing when he pressured her to deny. |-)

Rumors that have come out this weekend, including rumors members
of the White House staff actually walked in on them in the act, are
going to be quite interesting if proven true. Though all Democrats, I
am certian there are individuals of some degree of integrity in the
Clinton administration and as the evidence piles up against his
resolute denials, at some point, these people are going to begin
jumping ship. I remember the Watergate days and as Nixon became less
and less credible, more and more of his chief officers and appointees
began to abandon him. I'm looking for this as a sign that Clinton is
about to go down. When the rats start leaving the ship he's done for.
RP>Those past escapes helped make him careless. Lewinski told Tripp Dufus
RP>cheated on her with 4 other interns. Wonder when we'll be hearing from
RP>them.

Soon I imagine. After the double cross Hubble pulled, Star is
going to keep his power dry until he's crystal clear there's enough to
blow Clinton away. We're hearing rumors of what he has, but I would
well imagine there's a lot more as well. The Clintonites are starting
to develope a plan to attack the credibility fo Star directly, but this
time I think Star will carefully plan each step rather than getting out
on a limb.

Tomorrow nite is going to be interesting. Clinton has to give a
State of the Uteris...uh...Union speech. Normally a president sets the
agenda for the upcoming year in such a speech and can count on excited
support from his side of the asile. It's be interesting to see how
many Democrats stand up and cheer him on. Doing so, at this point, on
national television, could be construed by constituants as backing him
in the Zippergate affair. At the same time Republicans, who would
normally cheer or remain silent, depending upon the statement, lending
measurable encouragement or discouragement to each statement, may also
react differently. Will Clinton mention the affair? How will people
react when he enters the room and makes that long, usually cheerful
handshaking walk to the podium.
This is going to be an interesting event.
RP>Many seem to be disturbed that it's sexual escapades rather than some o
RP>the other things he's done that have brought his presidency to its
RP>current state of tottering on the brink of downfall. I'm of a differen
RP>mind. Infidelity isn't the simple mischeviousness so many would like t
RP>paint it. He who violates his vows to his wife will also violate the
RP>vows of public office and public trust, and some are finally beginning
RP>to see that - these matters of sexual impropriety are lending credence
RP>in the eyes of former skeptics to all the other charges they've been
RP>chalking up to partisanship. Perhaps in the future such things won't b
RP>shrugged off so easily as they have been, but rather be seen as the
RP>indicator of serious character flaws they are that impact on everything
RP>a person does.

The affairs themselves, while compromising the integrity of both
Clinton and the office he holds, could be overlooked by many people.
Alone, they most probably would not be considered impeachable offenses
by the Congress and would only serve to dilute the influence of the
presidency making him a weak, but full term president. The thing that
is going to get Clinton, beyond his clear lies, is purjury, subornation
of purjury, and obstruction of justice. These are not mere acts of
questionable integrity, but violations of the law. This is clear
criminal behavior and if, as I suspect, Star builds a case including
any of these charges, Clinton is history.
What would really be nice would be if Star could find some way to
prove Gore is in the middle of this. Getting rid of both at the same
time would leave an interesting presidential situation.
MA> One station reported Gore is already considering potential
MA>Vice-Presidents.
RP>I've heard that reported a number of times now from several different
RP>places. |-)

I bet Hillary isn't on the short list...
