Yea, that is where v42bis really shines through. I downloaded a 2meg
.BMP file today, and it "came down the line" at about 2600 CPS - On a
Supra 14.4!! When zipped, the file was only about 1.2megs or so.
The highest I have seen so far with my Supra 14.4 is about 3000CPS on a
highly-compressable txt file.
