Hi, my name is Brenda Jasmund.  I live in Virginia and am doing extensive
research on our family name.  I have lots of info to share and am looking
for any info that you might have.  My father's name is Eugene Robert
Jasmund.  His parents were William and Caroline Jasmund.  I have been able
to trace back to my great-great grandfather, Frederick (Fritz). He was born
in 1830 in Germany.  He eventually settled in Riga, MI.  I do not know if
he had brothers or other family members that immigrated with him.  I am in
the process of obtaining his naturalization papers.  I have been able to
trace the Jasmund name back to the 1400's to Rugen, Germany.   Please, if
you could give me any info, even if it is just your parents info (or even
grandparents), it would go a long way in solving the puzzle.  There are so
few of us, I know we have to be related.  Please let me know if you would
like me to send you all of the info I have on my lineage.  I'll be glad to
do it.
