I'd suggest that you take a few minutes to record a couple of 
simple macros and then single-step through them to get the "feel" 
of the mechanics of what's going on.
Set your macros up as toolbar icons, and make sure that you have 
that technique working, then go back and re-generate the complex 
macro; you may spot your error along the way. If not, you'll be 
able to provide us with details of what's unusual about this 
macro implementation.
