 Those are the two reasons why I wanted to try it.  Well, even without
 direct home-schooling, I can still encourage his intellectual growth!
 He is SO willing to learn!  That's one reason why I found it hard to
 believe he was 'SUCH a handful' last yr.!  :(
 
 AND I'm not at all concerned about the 'lack of social life', 'cos we
 live among what seems like hundreds of kids his age!
