Many thanks for the information. In reading through the many new messages on 
the 3 speed hub, there is quite a range of opinions! As for the Murray and 
Huffy I can see that your experience inclines you away from the cheaper 
ikes.
You did not seem so negative toward the Schwinn which is only about $50 more 
than the Huffy and Murray. It does have a Shimano 3 speed hub + coaster 
breakes
+ front cantaleavered brakes .......any comments?
