Hello Charles, it is a lovely day today.

CJ> Have you determined what is grunged? The archive or a file
 CJ> inside the archive?

I have exactly the same setup here on BW. I am at a loss to say
where the crunging takes place. I will or I did before, have a
look at the .rep after finishing the mail replies and it all
looks fine. Then I close the programme and when U/Ling it, I see
that it is crunged. At times, just one look at the .rep would
damage it, other times, many looks at it, opening and closing
the .rep via Pkunzip & Pkzip would not do any thing to it. After
reading my replies, it has to be zipped to get into a packet
        format to U/L.

When it is crunged, at the point where it gets damaged, there is
a blank message to a person, randomly. Then, all the rest from
that point on is in one lump of a message. I then save it to a
file.txt and Read it back into BW, edit the pertinent part and
redo the zipping. If I am lucky, this time will see it through.
Since, I have discontinued totally looking at my replies after
the fact to either edit one or erase one even, they all seem to
        have U/Led fine.

I tell you, this is quite the mystery for me ! Thanks for trying
        too.
