Yah I remember that one. LIke you I get a lot of my news
from international broadcasting as I find it more credible
than the corporate lackeys we have here.

POssibly. Will she gain enough traction to even do that?
There are a lot of wingnuts out there. They feel
disaffected and betrayed by the '08 elections, after all
McCain wasn't really their boy either. They got behind the
program when Palin was chosen for veep nominee which was why she was chosen
in the first place.

WC> Now mind you I no longer believethe Democrats, though now registered

I haven't for a long time. Both sides are too beholden to
those with the real money, and those elected ain't "one of
us" for darned sure.
I haven't heard of a small businessman being elected to high office for decades now.

WC> I figure it'll take near 20 years just to undo the damage done by

WC> good Presidents.

Don't count on that. I figure Obama's a one termer. HE was our flirtation
with novelty, it'll go back to old white men
from white shoes law firmsbacked by the bankers and big
corporates in '12. I held my nose and voted for Obama
knowing this going in. Usually I cast my vote libertarian.

WC> Obama all the more looks like he's pulling a "Goliath Davis" on us
WC> to me.

WC> He was a local black man I supported for St. Petersburg police
WC> chief. He said all the right things but once in office the good old
WC> boy network and the existing enertia in the department thwarted him
WC> and ultimately he bailed.

Thanks for clarifying the reference, wasn't familiar. Used
to stomp around Saint PEte/Sarasota back in the '70's.
Played all sorts of places with a rock 'n roll band around
then.

WC> This Democratic majority Congress hasn't much impressed me so far
WC> either.

They're bought and paid for as they have been for the last
half a century. YOu can pretty much count on this being the once great
United STates.
THe consumers bought it all, they were "voting for change"

What they'll get it mosreo f the same.

Regards,
           Richard
