  Richard.   When I compare myself with others here, I am a kid at
61years old.   I feel older and well it seems to me I might now
have a body of a 90 year old after surgery for Cancer, and other
things, and removel of a kidney which makes me tire quickly.

  I got early retirement, advice of my doctors  to retire in
2005 when I could have remained.   But then the situation, was
a no choice really due to health.

  Those readings, were from the US Civil War as well the WW1 and WW2
and they were of normal citizens just wanting to do the right thing
and get it over with and move along with their lives and family.

I remember so well Vietnam, and now .... all over FAST ... or as
you say a lot of wishful thinking.

I was on 40m HF when out in the RV..home HF is still out due to the
weeds called trees.    Heard a few things, but not really anything
like the night I listened to the folks in the Southern US trying
to make sense of what was happening.   I sat so helpless and
listened to disaster happening.

I will checkin anyhow on 7280 ... from the camping area.  But then
conditions too ..eh.
