From: Gary Britt There is no justification at all, morally or economically, for any amount of death taxation. Bill Gates should be able to give all 300 Billion or whatever it is to his children or to charity, his choice. Death taxation is based solely on the immorality of government greed, politicians seeking increased power (Money is Power after all), and playing on the worst kinds of human qualities such as greed, envy, jealousy, and the Marxist principles of wealth redistribution of the grossest and most offensive kind. Other than the above I think death taxes are just peachy Gary Dave Ings wrote: > I actually always thought the American tax policy had it right - lower > income taxes when you are alive, estate taxes when you die. Contrast that > with the situation in Canada - higher incomes taxes but (generally speaking) > no estate tax. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
