The hour for the Observing Group meeting on December 21 is
12:45, not 14:45 as stated in the schedule posted on 1 December
2002. All else remains the same, including the discourse on New
York astronomy, omitted in this correction.
The following activities in New York are operated by various
organizations, including astronomy clubs. A couple extra activities of
special importance to City astronomers may be included.
The activities here are almost all within New York City. For a
more regional slate of astro events, check the calendar section in the
NYSkies Yahoo egroup. How to join NYSkies is explained in the yadda-
yadda below.

Discussion of current topics in astronomy using
popular and technical literature, like S&T, ApJ,
NY Times, magazines, websites, Science News.
