        Ben, Not that I didnt believe you but i did prove that to myself
        (G) I removed any reference to Qedit and sure enough the message
        was printed just fine!

        BW points to LPT 1    Setting says that the default printer for
        LPT 1 is the Epson.

        Since the problem is not mission critical I will move on to
        something else to occupy my time (G)

        Weatherman is calling for rain turning to snow later in the day.
        Appears to be headed your way!
