Hello,

I'm trying to setup a peer to peer network between two pc's with novell
ne2000 NIC's.
I'm am using the drivers that came with win95 for that particular card.
The drivers that came with the card are for DOS.

Win95's device manager tells me the card is working properly but when I
try to open the "Network Neighborhood", Win95 tells me that the network
is not accessible and to go see the troubleshooting guide.

Things I've done (and not done):

--Used every possible I/O : IRQ combination
--Made sure that the card is set to the I/O : IRQ that Win95 thinks it
is set to
--Configured the card's I/O & IRQ while in DOS using the cards software
--Tried using three different ne2000's on the same machine only to get
the same error
--Use the NETbieu and IPX protocols only
--I do not have the card connected to the other computer...(i.e., no
10BaseT cable is connected to the card)
--Set my hard drive to be accessible to the network
--Loaded "Cient for Microsoft Networks"
--Loaded "File and Print sharing"

I suspect that the driver that came with Win95 is just not doing the
job. If anyone knows where I can find decent win95 drivers for my card
or has any helpful suggestions please let me know.

Thnx,

IM
