How many german or Japanese troops were tried or charged with "aiding
the enemy"? If one is an "enemy combatant" then how can one
be charged with "aiding the enemy"?

& how about "attempted murder by an unprivileged belligerent"?

If one is an enemy combatant then what do you think combat involves?
showering the enemy with praise till they bugger off?
