I use to get tons of spam from Wanadoo, had to block most of it.

Something must have happened upstream.  I use a layers here to catch most
of it.  85 - 90% of all email is rejected as spam/viruses/etc. Lately I've
been working on these stupid chain letters some people like to forward to
everyone.  They are the spammers wet dream employees.

I've been wanting to become better acquainted with ports.  What do you like
in a reasonably priced bottle, say $20 US?
