->      That's what I was saying: you can locate and
-> replace the Und On with Ital On, but you can't replace
-> the Und Off 'cause it's gone.  So, yes, all after that
-> are italized.  However, with a macro, you can locate
-> the Und On, block on, locate Und Off, hit the Ital,
-> back up to the Und Off and delete it.
NOW I understand what's going on here. I noted that myself when I 
deleted Und On ... it automatically removed Und Off. 
I'll try the macro as soon as I'm in WPWin61 (I presume it was written 
for that version and not the Dos one).
