I'm sure the same applies to guitars and guitar amps, etc., but my only
experience in dealer cost concerns is in pro-audio stuff.
I don't have any idea of what dealer markup is on guitars and guitar amps.
But, I would ask "would you let your dealer select your guitar brand and
model for you?"
