But part of the reason for the single-sex math/science for girls was to
increase enrollment in higher math and science classes. While it is
reassuring that the other areas have approximately equal representation,
do you not find it a bit of a problem that there is still this unequal
representation in Calc and Physics?
BTW, This past year I had 22 girls in AP Calc in a class of 35 total
enrollment. A pleasant reversal of the normal situation (it's the first
time I've seen the girls outnumber the boys at that level).
