If you want to use it for productivity apps and development tools, I 
would say "yes", it works fine.  Having the ability to run GS/OS, use 
800K disk drives without expensive interface cards, and a cheap 1 MB RAM 
disk is a plus.  And, like a few of us have done, you can hack your ROM 
1 motherboard into a //e case to fix the visual and keyboard anomalies.
