| subject: | Re: Was General Pace Fired Because He Balked at Iran? |
From: "Mark"
I feel bad for Pace getting the heave ho, but the Dems were salivating at
raking him over the coals for what they've decided (declared that is) is a
lost war; thus by bringing in a new guy with an attitude of looking forward
to the challenges that await us in Iraq, and yes in Iran (vs. Ostrich
method endorsed by too many) and without command responsibility over the
past, the Dems are cut off at the knees for yet another grandstanding
circus they'd have drawn out forever...

YAWN....
So he was not reappointed because all the democrats say he was too big a
supporter of Rumsfeld and the Iraq war, and now according to this no name
idiot he's not reappointed because he's stood up to Bush too much. GMAFB.
Come on Rich you used to have a more critical eye with your posts.
