One more thing:
fidoconf doesn't remove completely on my system when doing make deinstall
or pkg_delete. The problem seems to be that FreeBSD has a policy for the
naming of shared libraries that doesn't account for libs with version
numbers consisting of more than 1 digit. So links named *.14 like
fidoconfig's will be left out.
You can fix this by adding
NO_FILTER_SHLIBS = YES
right after your
INSTALLS_SHLIB = YES
in the ports Makefile.
