He already has, if memory serves.

Ironically, I don't have any problems with my Windows 7 box and my OS/2 box
talking to each other over SMB.  Shawn and I tried doing what I did to both
boxes and it didn't work for him.  He was using Windows 8 so who knows what
else was broken in it that wasn't in 7.
