HM> If you wanted to do it cheap with poor performance, I guess you could get a HM> with three serial ports and hack yourself up some software. A 286 should do HM> if you're in to assembler programming, otherwise a low end 486. Not for the HM> faint of heart though :-) I was thinking of a 486SX25 or dx2/66 systems running a program that just grabs incomming data from 3 serial ports and packets'em out 1 (and back at other end.. ).. Id be using a Fossil Driver (Buffers :), Would this have poor performance? (Using PowerBasic, 57600 (and 115k2) Baud Rates for a 28k8 or 33k6 Modem Link :). I thought it would keep upto a modem EASY?!?!.. Cya!
