Oldie but goodie
On Feb. 25, 1942 a giant UFO hovered over Los Angeles and was subjected
to battery fire from U.S. forces. 1400 artillery shells were fired at
the giant sphere and considerable ground damage with some casualties
was later reported as a result of the artillery fire. The giant UFO
left the scene at an estimated 18,000 MPH.
It is thought the 1980 film, "1941" was fashioned after the UFO
incident, sometimes referred to as the battle of Los Angeles.
The sighting was reported from Culver City, CA.
