TH> Anybody else tried using a regular CB antenna as a scanner antenna?
 Almost any antenna will work somewhat as a scanner antenna. Recieving 
applications are very forgiving. Youi of Course will Always have the best 
reception with an antenna designed for a particualrly band. Anything else is 

comprimise as are antennas that try for extreme bandwidth. The best thing to 
do is Try it. And IF You are satiisfied with the Result that is all that
matters.
