That sounds so nice, unfortunatly, my cats slice and dice any
plastic bag liners I try to use, besides I've used clumping
litter.
At least I did until I read a few horror stories about
clumping litter. The first problem is more likely to affect
kittens then adult cat. Clumping litter collects on the cat's
paws and is ingested when the cat cleans it's feet. When the
litter reachs the cat's intestine it swells often causing
constibation. This isn't usually a problem in adult cat's but can
be fatal in kittens.
I've switched to pine pellet cat litter. As the pellets absorb
the urine, they turn to sawdust, you just scoop out the solid
waste. The sawdust is biodegradeable, or flushable.
Sorry don't remember the trade name, but I can look it up
if any one wants to know.
With nine cats you go though alot of litter in a month
