Blue Wave areas are supposed to be identified by name (echotag, or
equivalent) rather than by number; numbers are used in QWK. So, in theory,
Blue Wave packets can withstand renumbering without ill effects. How this
works in practice depends on your BBS/door software; you didn't say what
you're using. (The degenerate case is when a door just fills the Blue Wave
echotag field with the ASCII form of the conference number, which defeats
the purpose of using the echotag. Unfortunately, I have seen this on some
packets, though I don't recall what software generated them.)
