After participating in evacuating an injured person from the Dominican
Republic in Jan of 1995 I can agree with you totally.
Until one expereiences the difficulty of trying to make the arrangements
necessary to airlift an injured person to Miami.....you can not immagine
the problems involved.
I worry more about my dive/travel buddies having DAN insurance than
myself. If my buddies get hurt/bent, then I or one of our group has to
make the arrangements to get them back to miami...not a pleasant task to
have fall on you.
