I wish to offer to everyone a public apology for reacting to Bill's
message in the way I did in a public forum. I should have responded via
netmail, but didn't. In mitigation, I wasn't thinking entirely clearly
that week due to illness, but still, it was off topic, and I should have
behaved accordingly.
I have written Bill publicly offering an olive branch of peace. I will
not attack operating systems, but will endeavor to share what I have
learned about using Geoworks Ensemble/New Deal Office with OS/2 (and
also DR-DOS). I can only hope that Bill will in turn offer help to
those who wish to use the same GEOS programs with Windows 95, his choice
of operating system. I hope he will join me in doing this without
attacking other people's choices.
To the moderator:
My apologies, and I will endeavor not to repeat this ill-behavior.
Sincerely,
Stephen
