This issue has been discussed and debated for decades, probably for centuries.

Many have pointed out that Jesus said, "When you pray, say, "Our
FATHER..."
 (an example of praying to God the Father INSTEAD of God the Son)

He also said, "if you ask for anything in my name..." (this also
suggests that we are supposed to pray to the Father and not to the Son)

However, and this is crucial, since scripture also tells us (John 1/Col
2/etc) that The Son IS the Father, it probably does not matter.

And when we consider the graciousness of God, it is unlikely that God is
going to send fiery thunderbolts at us for "praying to the wrong
One."

I hope that helps clear up the issue.

But I have an issue.  I continue to wonder why a Muslim is parked in a
CHRISTIAN group.

care to explain that?  Are you of the opinion that if you park in here long
enough (trolling), you will convert Christians to the Muslim faith?  The
faith of men MURDERING their own children "For the glory of
Allah" ?

Who was the statesman who said, "When the Muslims decide to LOVE their
CHILDREN more than they HATE their enemies, we will have peace."
