subject: Fossils

I Had Synchronet for Linux. Hated the way I had to setup dialup support. I
was an old Opus 1.73a sysop who wanted to use an opus like bbs on Linux.
Maximus works for me.

I have no idea how fossils work on Windows though. I do remember the fun I
had getting Opus 1.73a working under BNU 1.70 with different games in Dos.
For the most part the games sometimes didn't use the fossil as one of the
posters explained.

I have no desire to ever go back to Synchronet though. Under any Operating system.
