I got a call today, offering me a tour.
The position?  Sound engineer.  (Cake.. that's what I started in the biz as.)
The band?  Insane Clown Posse.  (They were kicked off a Disney-owned label
                                 a while back for being too "nasty".)
Tour?     A bunch of theatres/large clubs, then off to Europe for 25 days,
          then back to America to do sheds for the summer.
The pay?  No where near enough.
I turned it down.  Besides, I have to be at Detroit Opera House tomorrow
morning at 8am to start the load in for "Peter Pan".  When that leaves, opera
season starts, so I'll be in plenty of work, as well as reasonable amounts of
cash for a while.  Who needs a tour?  (Well, unless someone I really want to
tour with calls, then I'm -gone-.  )
