My older brother went through six years in the Air Force. I was about 15,
almost 16 when he came home from basic at Lackland. When I asked him how
tough basic had been.....he said that even I, at my age, could probably max
the course! It was that easy. That was back in the `fifties'. It couldn't
possibly have been `that' much tougher in the late `seventies'.

I got news for you sucker......when the `belt-tightening' comes (and it will,
no matter who is in the White House. The time will come when a lot of these
`entitlement' programs will get a closer look.), a lot of these `freebie'
checks are going to be getting a real close scrutiny. Some of those so-called
`I get headaches at work' problems are going to be told to get a fuckin' job,
and keep a bottle of aspirin in their pocket!
