 File: FREERDP.ZIP (1537kB), Area: GFD.NET.MISC, Origin: 2:2490/3045
Desc: FreeRDP Client for OS/2 & eComStation. FreeRDP v2.8.0.0 (20220916) is
a client for Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), used in a number of
Microsoft Windows operation systems. FreeRDP is a free implementation
of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache
license. Enjoy the freedom of using your software wherever you want,
the way you want it, in a world where interoperability can finally
liberate your computing experience. This is a test version, you need a
CPU with AVX support and OS/4 kernel (the not AVX version is under
construction yet). Additional requirements: CPU with AVX instruction
set (supported by OS/4 kernel), pthread, openssl, ffmpeg. WarpIN
archive. This port was done by: Andrey Vasilkin.

 File: SQUID-57.ZIP (12379kB), Area: GFD.NET.TCP, Origin: 2:2490/3045
 Desc: Squid v5.7 for OS/2 & eComStation. Squid is a high-performance proxy
caching server for web clients, supporting FTP, gopher, and HTTP data
objects. Unlike traditional caching software, squid handles all
requests in a single, non-blocking, I/O-driven process. squid keeps
meta data and especially hot objects cached in RAM, caches DNS
lookups, supports non-blocking DNS lookups, and implements negative
caching of failed requests. squid supports SSL, extensive access
controls, and full request logging. By using the lightweight Internet
Cache Protocol, squid caches can be arranged in a hierarchy or mesh
for additional bandwidth savings. Requires a copy of libcn0.dll and
libcx0.dll. This port was done by: Paul Smedley.

 File: NREXX404.ZIP (19683kB), Area: GFD.DEV.REXX, Origin: 2:2490/3045
Desc: NetRexx 4.04 GA. NetRexx is a general-purpose programming language
inspired by two very different programming languages, Rexx and Java.
It is designed for people, not computers. In this respect it follows
Rexx closely, with many of the concepts and most of the syntax taken
directly from Rexx or its object-oriented version, Object Rexx. From
Java it derives static typing, binary arithmetic, the object model,
and exception handling. "A smart language designed for real people,
and vice versa." Originally a product from the IBM Hursley Software
Lab, NetRexx has always been free software and is free and open source
since June 11th, 2011. It is the first alternative language for the
       Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
