Have been into cop thrillers lately and discovered a new (to me)
writer. Christopher Newman and his protaganist, Joe Dante. Great reading. 
He's written,

19th Precinct (Which I just started)
and
Backfire
Have any of you out there ever read his books? If not, recommend him
highly if you like this type of book.
