NM> Hello All!
NM> I need help regarding this SET TZ= variable in MS-DOS's AUTOEXEC.BAT
NM> needed by this Offline Mail Reader.
NM> What will I put on the SET TZ= command?
NM> The timezone where I am located is GMT +8:00 (Manila)
NM> Thanks a lot!
Set TZ=aaa#bbb
where: aaa=the name of your time zone. If you don't know, inquire
#=hours off GMT, in your case: -8 (8 hours East of Greenwich)
bbb=the name of your daylight saving time zone (omit if n/a)
Assume the name of your time zone is Philippine Standard Time, and you do
observe daylight savings time, then: aaa#bbb=PST-8PDT
If daylight savings is not observed, omit the PDT.
Actually in the real world, PST=Pacific Standard Time, but would prolly
work so long as you use the -8. Good Modeming! /\oo/\
