My father spent all but a few years of his working years, working for the
United States Govt. Four years in the United States Army (Korea era) and
the remainder until 1987 for the National Security Agency with an ungodly
high security clearance, having briefed military base commanders and
Aircraft Carrier Commanders on encrytion codes, he currently is subsisting
on his pension.

Every day when he was working, he got up at 5:30am for the 50 mile one way
commute to Ft Meade MD, carpooling, traffic jams and coffee, he went to
work like every other working American. The only rub is, he couldnt talk
about his work when he got home each day.

Are you saying my father was/is a failure, if so, FUCK YOU!

Working for the public sector does not equate to failure, leeching off of
the funders of the public sector is more like it.
