I don't know what bluemail is, unless you meant bluewave? Bluewave
is a DOS oriented program. It has a configuration menu where you
tell it how to pack and unpack archives (QWK and REP files). In the
line where you enter that information, you either have to give the
full path to the zip and unzip routines (e.g. C:\UTIL\pkunzip.exe) or
make sure that they are on the path that DOS programs know about.
You did not say what sort of system you are using. In Windows XP, you
can add directories to the environmental variables (e.g. PATH ) by
going to the console -> system properties -> Advanced tab at top of
window -> environmental variables at bottom of window.
You can also usually get by with putting an extra copy of PKZIP and
PKUNZIP that you are using into the directory where the BlueWave
executable lives. That is because the current directory (e.g. "." )
is usually a default search on the PATH statement.
Can you open a DOS window, navigate to where the QWK lives and call
pkunzip via command line from there? If so, then the path to it is
probably already on your PATH variable. If not, then this should
cure that.
