Speculating on why you say that... Is it because there's less 
likelyhood of lightning "blowing a hole" in the bottom of the boat?  I 
thought the reliable grounding of the centreboard would be more 
effective than a wire dragging in the water.  
Please elaborate.
BTW I'll be off line for a week... Sailing in Georgian Bay.  Look 
forward to hearing more upon my return.  Hope it's not too late 8-D
