Hello Dan. DC==>I'm not very sure of that idea.... I think that leading the DC==>ground over the side of the boat from the shrouds would be DC==>more prudent.... Speculating on why you say that... Is it because there's less likelyhood of lightning "blowing a hole" in the bottom of the boat? I thought the reliable grounding of the centreboard would be more effective than a wire dragging in the water. Please elaborate. BTW I'll be off line for a week... Sailing in Georgian Bay.
