You misunderstand my point.
My point was not that Illich does or does not claim that third world
countries are being forced into the modern era against their will. I'm
willing to take your word on that score, since you've read the book and
I haven't.
My point was that you are quoting material that does not support what
YOU claim it supports.
If you're going to quote material in support of your position, it would
help if the quotes clearly pertained to the claims you were trying to
make.
