While tripping merrily through the mail, Craig Hollenbeck was overheard
CH> I have a couple hummels I was wondering if anyone could give me
CH> a rough value on them.
CH> They are from before East and West Germany Split, on the bottom
CH> of each hummel is the words Germany. One is called the Little
CH> Fiddler and the other is called Mischief. I have a few more but
CH> don't currently know the name of them to post them. There are
CH> additional things on the bottom of each hummel, but from what I
CH> can tell from people I have spoke with they are from the oldest
 CH> hummels made.
Check your local library, there are collector's guides for Hummels available
that can give you a pretty good idea. You can also get information
from Hummel dealers, and there is a National Hummel Collector's Club.
I know the fiddler dates from the early 50's, my mother has it, my Uncle
brought it back from West Germany in about 1952 or so. The last time I
saw a price on it it was around $500, but that was some years ago.

... So easy, a child can do it. Child sold separately.
