SA> COM2--/ \--COM2

Wouldnt you have to use the TCP/IP protocol, so that you can have
numerous streams of data (say 2 different files coming at once)
then have software redirect the right file to the right com port
Dont know about this, but Microsoft's NT 4.0 will (do the opposite)
let you run any number of modems connected to the same site both ends
(different phone lines) download the same file, similar to a RAID system.
So if you have say 4 modems and 4 phone lines, you can down load the
one file 4 times as fast.
/----modem---phoneline-----modem----\
file upload --/------modem---phoneline-----modem------\ ----file download
\------modem---phoneline-----modem------/
\----modem---phoneline-----modem----/
