Kurt...

I was wondering about that myself. I currently have Windows XP, SP3, on
both desktops (1 for the BBS, the other for games), and 1 of the 2 laptops
that I have (the other has Vista).
I had considered Windows 7 with XP mode, especially considering Microsoft
is ENDING all support, security upgrades, etc. for XP in April, 2014. But,
I can't see forking out all that money to upgrade 4 computers...not to
mention, the many legacy 16-bit DOS doors, etc. on the BBS, and the potential
for them to quit working. BBSing is the last major hobby that I am still able
to do, due to numerous health issues.
