You might use the Asimov program (http://www.ninjaforce.com/html/ products.html) once you get a (un)shrinker working. That'll allow you to take whole-disk images like .po and .2mg and reconstitute physical disks from the image. > Next I was apple to network the GS running 6.0.1 to the Color Classic > and transfer the files from the Mac to the GS hardrive, thought I was > home free....now the GS doesn't recognize the files, .sea files won't > open and can't open .shk files as I can't get GSShrinkIt to unpack on > the GS either. It's a fiddly business, those filetypes. Especially when transferring between Mac and GS using finder or mac-produced ProDOS diskettes. You can BRUN tchange directly on the GS if you can get its filetype changed to $06 (BIN); you can use the instructions you already read if its filetype is $04 (TXT). It sounds like the filetype is now $00 (UNK). A quick CAT will tell you what type the GS thinks it is. You can use this command to load it, based on the type it is: BLOAD TCHANGE.BIN,A2048,T$00 --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: Derby City Gateway (1:2320/0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 106/1 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 393/11 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 2320/0 100 261/38 633/260 267 |
