G'day Steven

 PC> SA> Now to bug USR for a 33k6 HST :)

PC> Why stop there, As HST uses most of the bandwidth for one
PC> direction with only a back channel why not try to push it to
PC> 57k6. It would have to be a marketing plus, It's a wonder USR
 PC> hasn't pushed HST further.

SA> I know that HST connects at 14k4 (Maybe 16k8 but they are only
SA> 14k4 modems) where other protocals DIE (V.34, V.fc etc) or
SA> connect at 2400 so maybe we could get a Xtra fast HST :)...

It would be good.

SA> Wait Up, USR.. Aussie SDL's Months behind.. By the time HST 28k8
SA> or 57k6 comes out we will all have fibre optic!. :)

It would be a problem, Maybe if we all traded in our Austel Couriers
for US Domestic models.

     Pete.
